Is Freedom Always a Good thing?

Freedom: breaking the chainWait, what? Is freedom always a good thing? Well freedom is a feeling of being independent, doing whatever you want, having whatever you like but getting all of these joys are not socially, mentally and of course physically good at some times.

From the dictionary of common senses, freedom is an ambiguous word, having two different path with two different hence opposite etymologies.

People misuse the concept of freedom and start doing something that is morally wrong. For an instance, freedom of rights means a common man can raise his voice against injustice, doing his religious duties and doing what he likes but he has to come down to his knees before the law or, in other words, the right path. He should restrict himself from thuggish acts, robbery and other immoral activities. Although these things may come under what is now known as freedom, in this sense freedom will never be good.

Okay the most interesting part is coming right away. I ask you a question: In what sense, do you think about freedom?

Fascinating thing is that you may be free but you are not. You may do whatsoever you want but you cannot do it right away. 'Parents', they are the perfect example. They restrict their children in doing wrong as they were restricted from doing wrong by their parents.

First your parents, they give you your life, but then they try to give you their life.
― Chuck Palahniuk

Freedom of one thing requires a million times discipline, faith and humanity. Answer in comments: Why many countries got freed?

Ardor to speak as a matter of fact, everywhere and anywhere you go all around the globe, there is one fundamental law which you have to obey or you will be brought down to justice. Why brought down, because you are misusing freedom, misusing right and violating the terms and conditions of being a citizen or just a foreigner. Point is, freedom will be good if we make it good and bad when we make it bad. So here thinking plays a major role in doing what is right. That's why, your teachers are always guiding you to read literature of any place and language because literature is something which opens up a mind, matures it and it is that literature which explained the etymology of freedom.

Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it.  ― Malcolm X
*Malcolm X describes man to be honest and disciplined.

Just go in a peaceful country with disciplined people, you will most probably observe the rident faces of common man due to the fact that he knows, the freedom he achieved have proven and will prove better for the life to exist over there. And when you go to a country where there is a law but no one gives it a single accent of interest, there is a smirch on the reputation of the citizen. Even if there is a whole community which is veritably disciplined, there is a blot on them too, since country describes people. So now another term comes to our mind, majority. And we all knows that it is due to that majority, freedom is achieved. If majority is infested with wrong and immorality, freedom would definitely mean that anyone can go around and do crimes without any fear because it is due to those people freedom was achieved. And if the majority is moral and socially justified, then results will just be bona fide, extremely contrary to the first condition and excellent for next generation that will born in such a nation.

Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
 Martin Luther King, Jr.

Concluding with the help of five words which describe why freedom is not always good, that are Morality, Discipline, Thinking, Literature and Laws, are the same words which describe why freedom is not always bad. It depends on the usage of these five words. Similar situation as with weapons, if used for good then weapons are good, but if used for bad then weapons will have a very wrong image in our heads. And that would be too devastating.
