Xbox 360 Screen Freezing Problems and Solutions

Microsoft software are from beginning facing some freezing in system. No matter how cool your system is, it freezes. Same is the condition with Xbox 360 gaming console. Even their newly launched Xbox 360 E does have the same problem which previous versions had. By the way, Microsoft never changed anything in all versions of Xbox 360 which may make a great difference!
In this blog, I will be discussing two different but most common freezing problem and will give you the right way to solve them.

1) Main Screen logo freezing

Well it is one of the most common problem with Microsoft consoles. If you see your main logo freezing, it is due to the following reasons:

  • Overheating of console
  • Dust in hard drive
  • Magnetic interruption with console
  • Small space room for console
  • Or virus (rarely seen)

Above four are the most popular reasons which freezes your console. So try sorting these issues out by using a spacious room for your console, removing all surrounding electronic items which can magnetically interact with your console, and taking out hard drive and cleaning it with brush.
But if these things does not solve your problem, press and hold main console switch for like 10 seconds. It will reset all the cache and useless data from your console.

Still didn't work? Give your console away to the repair shop!

2) Playing games while signed into Xbox live, game freezes by showing black screen

Oh yes, the most common problem with every Xbox 360 you buy, new or old, somewhere it does this issue. There are some reasons, like you messed up somewhere in the system or maybe there are cache problems. Well you can sort it out quickly:

Xbox 360's system settingsGo to your console setting, click to storage and then press (Y), then go to cache and clear it. Second, go to network setting, and forget and disconnect the WiFi connection or unplug the wired connection. Re install the connection again, connect to live and voilà, you are done!
